External Services

This plugin connects to services operated by Chatim LLC. A Chatim account is required.

Chatim API (https://api.chatim.app)
Used from the WordPress admin only: to sign in, list the sites in your Chatim account and connect one of them to this WordPress site. Data sent: your Chatim email and password at sign-in, a short-lived access token for the following requests, and the selected site ID. The token is discarded after the site is connected; the plugin stores only the selected project ID and name in WordPress options.

Chatim widget (https://chatimwidget.com)
Loaded on the public pages of your site once a project is connected. It provides the chat interface. Data sent: visitor messages, form answers, the page URL, browser and device information and a visitor session identifier needed to keep the conversation. Where required by law the widget asks for consent before storing anything.
