As the name says, Simple Social Share is a very simple to use social media sharing plugin for your WordPress blog. No registration, no ID’s required. It’s absolutely free. Just install and get going.
Recursos
- Five different types of styles: small buttons with / without share count and the usual 32 x 32 icons with square / rounded-border / circular icons.
- A very easy to configure admin panel
- Select from the available list which social icons you want to display.
- Select where you want the buttons to appear: before content and/or after content.
- Show/Hide buttons on Archive’s page and/or Post and/or Pages
- Shortcode for developers. If you want an efficient control of where the button appears you can place the shortcode ‘[simple-social-share]’ anywhere you want to display the buttons.
- Optional tooltip and 360deg rotation animation

Instalação
- Download the plugin Simple Social Share from this page and extract it
- Copy the extracted folder to the “/wp-content/plugins/” directory
- Active o plugin no menu Plugins
- Now in Settings->Simple Social Share select how you want to display the social media icons

There is something sinister going on with this plugin.. It was added to my site and activated without my intervention...
I am 100% sure of this.
Beware.

this plugin overwrote the jquery version on my site (which is just the default wordpress one) and broke the whole site.

Finally, a simple plugin that lets me embed a shortcode anywhere I want in the post.

Absolutely crap. Can I vote negative stars?
Would just love to find a simple Social Sharing plugin that doesn't embed all sorts of commercial, redirect nonsense. Thought this was it. Followed all instructions, "How-to-make-this-work" tips. No success. ZERO. SIMPLY DOES NOT work. This should be deleted from the plug-in library to avoid others wasting their time.
