** WP Excerpt Generator**
can easily generate excerpts to fill any shortfall or simply to save time. The plugin
adds the excerpts directly in the database of the website. Of course, nothing beats
writing your own extracts but the extension is to satisfy the special case … Some
examples of existing options:
* Choice of generation excerpts
* Automatic creation of excerpts after publication or modification
* Choice of the type of content for which you must generate excerpts (pages or
articles, or both)
* Selection of publications for which create extracts: published content and/or
planned
* Ability to cut the end of the string properly …
* Ability to keep existing excerpts in the database
* Cleaning HTML non closed tags
* Ability of deleting the excerpts of your choice
* Possibility to modify existing excerpts

**WP Excerpt Generator**
permet de générer facilement des extraits pour combler un éventuel manque ou pour
gagner du temps tout simplement en les ajoutant dans la base de données du site.
Bien entendu, rien ne vaut la rédaction de vos propres extraits mais l’extension
est là pour répondre aux cas de force majeure… Quelques exemples d’options existantes:
* Choix du mode de génération des extraits
* Création automatique des extraits après publication ou modification.
* Choix du type de contenus pour lesquels il faut générer des extraits (pages ou
articles, ou les deux)
* Choix des publications pour lesquelles créer des extraits : contenus publiés
et/ou planifiés
* Possibilité de couper la fin de chaîne proprement…
* Possibilité de conserver les extraits déjà existants dans la base de données
* Nettoyage des balises HTML impropres ou non fermées
* Possibilité de supprimer les extraits de votre choix
* Possibilité de modifier des extraits existants

## Instalação
_En français_
1. Recopier le contenu de l’archive dans le répertoire des extensions (wp-content/
plugins) et activer dans le panneau des extensions du backoffice de WordPress.
2. Régler les paramètres dans les options de l’extension.

1. Copy the content of the archive in “wp-content/plugins” and activate the plugin.
2. Adjust the settings in the options.

This is a not updated plugins. I tried it with Wordpress 5.6.1. The plugin generated
too long excerpts including the tags of WP Bakery visual composer. Luckily I had
made a backup of the database!

Site I was building needed excerpts. I generated them… I deleted a few. Tried to
save new ACF content… nothing saves anymore. Everything is broken. Have to redo
hours of work.

This plugin can delete the custom post type name field when pressing a wrong button
rendering your website broken!

Excerpt generation is totally bugged now, can’t delete the bugged excerpts the plugin
has generated, etc. DO NOT USE.

All it does is adding a
in the excerpt field. Doesn’t work. Waste of time.
