Cheyytec Content Warning Blur hides spoilers, NSFW images and sensitive content behind a blurred overlay with a short warning and a “Show content” button. Nothing is revealed until the visitor chooses to click.
Wrap any text or image in one shortcode and it is blurred instantly — no configuration, no page builder, no external service.

How to use
Wrap the content you want to hide inside the [cheyytec_content_warning] shortcode:

Customise the wording with attributes:

You can also place an image or gallery inside the shortcode — it will be blurred until revealed.
Pro version
Content Warning Blur Pro adds:
- 18+ age gate — require an age confirmation before revealing, with an
age="18"attribute and your own confirmation text. - Remembered consent — once a visitor confirms their age, age-gated content stays revealed for a number of days you choose (cookie).
- Automatic category warnings — blur every post in selected categories automatically, no shortcode needed.
- Reveal analytics — see which pages get their warnings revealed the most.
Instalação
- Upload the
cheyytec-content-warning-blurfolder to the/wp-content/plugins/directory, or install the plugin through the Plugins screen in WordPress. - Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen.
- Wrap any content in the
[cheyytec_content_warning]...[/cheyytec_content_warning]shortcode.

Can I use it to hide spoilers?

Yes — that is one of the most common uses. Wrap the spoiler in the shortcode and set your own wording, for example

Can I blur NSFW or adult images?

Yes. Put the image inside the shortcode and it is rendered blurred with a warning over it, so nothing appears uncovered when the page loads. The Pro version adds an 18+ age gate that asks for age confirmation before revealing, and remembers the visitor’s choice.
