Descrição
PayCools Payments adds a PayCools payment gateway to classic WooCommerce checkout and Checkout Block. Customers are redirected to PayCools’ hosted Checkout page; this plugin does not collect card details or display payment-channel selectors in your store.
External service
This plugin connects to the PayCools payment service to create Checkout sessions, process payment and refund callbacks, and reconcile pending payment or refund status. The following data is sent to PayCools when required to process a payment or refund: order number, amount, currency, country code, customer name, customer email address, customer phone number, and the payment or refund transaction identifiers. PayCools returns Checkout URLs and payment or refund status information.
Merchants must review and accept PayCools’ applicable terms and privacy policy before enabling the gateway. This plugin does not send telemetry, analytics, or usage data to PayCools or any other third party.
Privacy
The plugin stores the PayCools identifiers and statuses needed to operate and reconcile an order or refund using WooCommerce order metadata. It does not store card details. Diagnostic logs redact signing material, callback payloads, Checkout URLs, and customer personal data.
Hosted Checkout and refunds
At checkout, WooCommerce creates an order and redirects the customer to PayCools hosted Checkout. After PayCools notifies the store, WooCommerce updates the order status. Refunds initiated from WooCommerce are sent to PayCools and are reconciled until a final response is received.
