GenerateBlocks is super lightweight and makes all the design layouts I want to achieve easy The 4 blocks can create almost anything you're wanting to build. Another gem made by Tom

More excellent work from Tom Usborne. As a longtime user of GeneratePress I didn't hesitate to give this a shot. I've been holding off getting into blocks, being a bit old skool it all seemed a bit clunky and 'more-or-less OK' and I found I often had to download quite a lot of third party plugins to get the job done. This little collection sorts that out right away - all the layout basics covered with fine-grain control, all the parameters you need are right there. CLean and highly functional. 11/10.

I've been avoiding the block editor. Period - I knew I could learn to use it, but sure did not want to live with it. Knowing in the back of my mind that the thing is not going anywhere, I decided to poke around for some plugins that could make using it better than sitting in the dentist chair for hours on end - numbed mouth, drool dripping uncontrollably down the chin, anesthesia immobilizing the limbs leaving precisely timed SBD's as the only line of defense. Yes - all that is better than using the block editor! Until now... As a long time GeneratePress user and fan of Toms work I was really happy to find GenerateBlocks - After installing it and doing some initial experimentation, I'm actually excited about using the block editor now. If you already use GeneratePress and it's companion plugin, the controls of the block elements will be very familiar. There seem to be just enough blocks to do what you need. With a little imagination and some css classes, you can create exactly what you want. Best of all, GenerateBlocks plugin is not bloated and loaded with ads to purchase an even more bloated version.

Great plugin and great guys. We were looking for options to ditch page builders and all their bloat and constant issues and still be able to create content how we wanted. GenerateBlocks nailed it!. Instead of having 140+ requests to the server for a basic about us page, for example, There'r now only 26 requests with GB + GeneratePress Pro with no optimization and no server or browser cashing, resulting in 3-4X faster page loads with the same exact content. That's not all. The tech support is miles ahead of the that of theme builder we had, and that was with premium support. Thanks Tom!!
