Classic Widgets is an official plugin maintained by the WordPress team that restores the previous (“classic”) WordPress widgets settings screens. It will be supported and maintained to 2024, or as long as is necessary.

Uma vez activado, e ao usar um tema clássico (sem ser de blocos), este plugin recupera os antigos ecrãs de opções de widgets e desactiva a gestão de widgets do editor de blocos. Não há qualquer outra configuração, os ecrãs clássicos de configuração de widgets são activados ou desactivados através de activar ou desactivar este plugin.

Are there any settings?: No, there are no settings. Once activated, this plugin restores the previous (“classic”) WordPress widgets screen and disables the block editor from managing widgets.
Does this work with full site editing and block themes?: No, as block themes rely on blocks. See Block themes article for more information.

omg THANK U. Block widgets were driving me insane lol. Installed this & everything went back to normal instantly. Zero setup needed. Idk y wp removed classic widgets tbh. This plugin = a must have

I only installed this cz the new widget editor was slowing me down. It does what I needed, no extra mess. Still, it feels kinda basic and not something I’d call perfect.

Good if you don’t like the new widget screen. It made things easier for me, but honestly, it doesn’t add much else. Fine for simple use.

Does exactly what I needed. Brought back old widget system easily. No hassle, just install n done. Works smooth without any issue. Really helpful 👍

Classic Widgets helped me quickly restore the old widget screen. Very easy to use and no confusing setup. Feels simple and useful, but a few more options would make it better.

Brought back the old widget screen, which made things easier for me. Very simple to use, with no extra setup required. Not fancy, but helpful if you like the classic way.
